By Freya Thornton
The world is silent, a child fast asleep,
The calm and stillness people shall keep,
A dazzle of happiness, whirling around,
From men and weapons, there isn't a sound.
Mothers sleep, no worries in their minds,
Families survive, forever entwined.
Hand in hand, caressing her child,
No murder, no crime, safe from the wild.
No trenches dug to around nine foot,
No barbed wire fences covered in soot,
Though its hard to believe, but wherever you're bound,
No hatred nor menace is easily found.
This i know, you will sleep tonight,
Though not in fear of continual fight.
You will share comfort with family and friends,
In this: Our world peace that will never end.
